Brad proposed Angelina with an unusual diamond engagement ring

It’s true, it’s confirm and now we have a close up of it! The power couple of Hollywood is finally engaged and the exotic diamond ring is perching proudly on the diva’s ring finger. The news came as a rumor when Jolie was spotted wearing a bauble on the holy finger during her visit to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. With partner Brad Pitt and son Pax the actress was viewing the Chinese gallery section when the eagle-eyed observes noticed a stunning rock on otherwise sacred finger.

Later, Brad’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged and the wedding date was not set yet. Pitt and Jolie are together since 2005. They were continuously asked about marriage plans in these years but the couple cleared that they would marry when the marriage laws will be equal for all. But their brood of six children is the reason why they have changed their minds. Brad during an interview stated that their children wanted them to marry and the often asked when he would get a ring for mommy. Their marriage is now very important for the children and it means a lot to them.

So Brad had started working on the ring over a year ago because he was willing to gift nothing but the best to his sweetheart. The ‘MoneyBall” star collaborated with designer jeweler Robert Procorp of Beverly Hills to craft an engagement ring which would give Jolie a feeling of protection, honor and being loved.

According to the designer’s rep and by viewing the images of the new bling the ring has a customized tablet cut diamond in the center with accent cut diamonds in graduation. The diamonds were set to resemble the planets which emit the pulses of energy for the wearer.

Brad wanted every aspect of the ring to be perfect so he was highly involved in realization of the ring. Procop told to Hollywood Reporter that he located the finest quality diamond and cut it to the exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand. The accent diamonds were also of finest quality and were especially cut and set to encircle the finger.

Like the ring the news of engagement is equally thrilling and came after years of speculation. We were expecting Brad to come up with something unusually beautiful and he did the same.
